TYPES OF STONE
Nothing can emulate nature's creativity because real stone is quarried and not man made, it is unlikely to ever find exactly matching stone. Many things affect the ultimate graining and coloration of real stone including underground springs, mineral deposits, earth shifts, temperature, and pressure these elements receive over time. Real stone will show the vivid looking, and natural surface.
Real Stone ages beautifully. Unlike almost every other building material, stone does not decay, rather, its natural beauty only enhances through years of use. Our loose flat backed stone can be laid in may ways
* Dry Stack - Laid close together, next to no mortar showing
* Jointed and Raked using the stones natural shape - Showing some of the depth and undulations in the stone
* Pointed - Spacing the stone and back filling with mortar, the colour can be varied e.g. White, Light Grey or Dark Grey.
* Partially Bagged - Chosen mortar colour pointed and partially covering the stone
* Fully Bagged - Mortar completely covering the the stone only leaving the stone shapes and textures
